In the continuity of the Flood Prevention Action Program (PAPI) of the watersheds of the Grands-Fonds, the Cap Excellence Agglomeration Community is committed to a 2nd PAPI program at the level of its administrative perimeter over the period 2024-2029. This 2nd PAPI is conducted through a so-called "multi-hazard flooding" approach. Indeed, it addresses the flood risk regardless of its origin: rainy or maritime, temporary or permanent. The PAPI system is a partnership framework between the State and local authorities. It aims to develop a coherent strategy on the 7 axes of flood prevention. In addition, the PAPI label encourages the commitment of several partners, in their fields of competence, to a common goal and a common timetable. The programme consists of 39 actions.
