Guadeloupe is exposed to significant natural phenomena (hurricanes, storms, etc.) that can cause unavailability of telecommunications networks in certain areas of the territory. As part of its missions and in particular those consisting in the operation of drinking water and sanitation networks, SMGEAG wishes to have a centralized IT solution for supervision and remote management. This solution will be one of the cornerstones of the industrial information system, the challenges of which are: - To address all employees of the structure according to their field of expertise; - To provide better proactivity in the operation of networks and near real-time monitoring; - Facilitate the correlation of information and the implementation of reports of various types; - To have an open system providing compatibility for emerging technologies (e.g.: Connected objects). In addition to having reliable information, the safety of the personnel involved in the works is a crucial issue for the SMGEAG. As a result, the upgrading of electrical control cabinets (remote management cabinets) is also necessary.
