In June 2015, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Guadeloupe Islands region (CCI IG) carried out an energy audit of the building by the TECSOL Antilles Design Office. This building built in 1994, offers an area of 7115 m2 and is composed of 5 levels (DRC, R+1, R+2, R+3, R+4) with a roof type technical terrace. The Complexe World Trade Center (CWTC) granted the energy label E, or 807 kWhep/m2.year. On the basis of this performance index, the building can be classified as energy-intensive. This decision support study made it possible to draw up an inventory with the objective of proposing actions allowing the developer to achieve energy savings. Among these actions, the rehabilitation of air conditioning was advocated. In September 2022, a detailed diagnosis was carried out by the CETE Engineering Design Office and specifies the work to be carried out as part of a renovation of the air conditioning. This same CETE Engineering Design Office has a project management contract enabling the Client to ensure the proper execution of this work. It is with this in mind that this operation to renovate the air conditioning installation is part of.
