The city of Le Moule is carrying out the seismic comfort project of the Laure Laurent Soliveau school. The target audience are the students of the school in the territory of the city of Le Moule. Following the validation of the Antilles Earthquake Plan, the city of Le Moule has begun to renovate its school system in recent years. Resolving the vulnerability of existing buildings is one of the main issues in reducing seismic risk in the territory. Despite constraints related to seismic reinforcement sometimes strong (socio-economic dimension, poor knowledge of the building, etc.) the seismic reinforcement of the buildings remains an obligation for their preservation. Indeed, the latter consists in strengthening schools that do not require reconstruction demolition but whose risk has been assessed during audits carried out, as unacceptable or high.
