Seismic standards for works of art on the national road network

The regional authority has decided to make the Route nationale 2 section Géry in Vieux Habitants and the Delisle works of art in Petit-Canal secure and out of the water. It is a planning project for works of art on the RN network to deal with various natural hazards (cyclones, floods and earthquakes), road bridges being subject to climatic conditions that can be extreme in Guadeloupe. In order to ensure the safety of the population, the program ensures the integrity of the structures and their structural viability over time. The three works of art from Géry to Vieux Habitants: - Demolish and rebuild and widen the three structures crossing the bel air and Géry gullies with a hydraulic sizing adapted to the passage of a 100-year flood - Resume the profile along the roadway according to the levels of the future road sanitation works - Extend the existing roadway in order to create in the medium term a greenway between the entrance to the beach of the pond and the village of Vieux Habitants The Reconstruction of the Delisle Bridge the work will consist of: - Demolish the existing structure - Rebuild the structure For this, the construction assumptions are: - Foundations: sole type superficial (subject to the results of geotechnical studies to the law of future supports) - Structure: reinforced concrete beam bridge or slab (subject to the results of the implementation study)
