The nine heritage natural areas protected by acquisition are areas of heritage interest at least regional level with the presence of heritage or protected species, but also issues related to carbon capture and the fight against global warming (grasslands, afforestation, peatlands ...) and the protection of water resources (marshlands). All the spaces presented here are in direct continuity or in the immediate vicinity of natural sites already managed by the Conservatoire. These acquisitions aim to strengthen the network of managed sites and increase the ecological functionality of these networks. This protection will make it possible to maintain or even restore the ecological wealth, but also the economic functions (agriculture, tourism, ...) and social (leisure, environmental education, well-being, ...) of these spaces with the development of a management plan implemented with local actors.
