DOUAISIS AGGLO wishes to develop part of the EuraDouai ZAC to accommodate a business district. This former industrial wasteland will host on nearly 18 hectares of superior and high-end tertiary activities, a major cultural equipment (the Atelier du Livre d'Art et de l'estampe), 2 hotels of 3 and 4 stars. The site is now landlocked between Douai station and its railway tracks and the mining cities of La Clochette (Douai) and Notre Dame (Waziers). It is cut off from downtown DOUAI. The first step of the urban project will therefore be to connect the site to the heart of the city by building a gentle modes footbridge. This is an essential step of urban sewing, it will participate not only in the opening up of the site, but also in the connection of the neighborhoods is in the city center.
