Biomass installation and creation of a heating network for the city of Doullens operated by the Fédération départementale d'Energie de la Somme The project has a threefold objective: Energy, Environment and Economic and Social. The investment made and the human resources deployed by the FDE80 on this project aim to provide the territory with stable energy at cost and benefiting from a significant share of renewable energy (87%). The FDE80 has worked for a long time with flax drillers to set up a virtuous heating network that uses by-products from the flax industry and thus promotes the local economy. The project will provide long-term stable low-carbon energy at a reasonable cost. The average selling price of the heat concerned should be 108,60 € including VAT/MWh useful taking into account the subsidies requested. The project, by its nature, will contribute to the mitigation of climate change and the reduction of greenhouse gases while allowing the valorisation of by-products of the flax sector available on the territory. It will promote the energy autonomy of the territory.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
