MATRANOR is a woodworking and fittings company based in Pérenchies. (59) As part of its approach to reducing its environmental impact, the company wishes to invest in a biomass boiler powered by wood waste from its activity. Wood waste and sawdust collected via suction systems will be transformed into "briquettes" that will serve as fuel for this new generation boiler. This 400 kW boiler makes it possible to produce energy from a renewable source and replaces the current gas boiler, thus avoiding the emission of 55t CO2 / year.
