The purpose of this dossier is to finance the 2023 programming of the CPER BiHauts Eco de France project. The project aims to strengthen excellent upstream research in the fields of agronomy, biotechnologies, processes and molecules derived from biomass and to ensure optimal transfer of the results of this research to regional companies in the sector. The BiHauts Eco de France project is part of a logic of uniting all the forces in the bioeconomy on the regional territory in order to create maximum synergies to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to problems related to the agriculture, agri-food, biotechnology, environment and health sectors. This research programme aims to actively participate in the competitiveness of the Hauts-de-France region in this promising sector through varietal improvement, agroecology, the characterisation of new enzymes and molecules from plants, their valorisation by green chemistry processes, their transformations and the study of their potential applications. It will accelerate the transfer of research results and their appropriation by the regional socio-economic fabric. This will boost innovation in both products and services.
