The project "SEPAR8 process" is an innovative project that will strengthen elements of science and research for industrial purposes for the recycling of batteries at the end of their life. By securing the technological maturity of innovative elements (TRL3 to TRL5) and differentiating from conventional practices, by allowing the study of a diversification of deposits and by exploiting several key results, it will contribute to making Hauts-de-France a territory of excellence, at the forefront of the battery industry and in particular the recycling segment and the supply of strategic recycled raw materials, essential to the sector's value chain. The SEPAR8 Process consortium brings together the skills and expertise of leading academic and industrial partners in the field of batteries: Mecaware, the Laboratory of Solids Reactivity and Chemistry (LRCS) and the Institute of Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry and Biochemistry (ICBMS).
