Refurbishment of Autumn and its tributaries and restoration of wetlands in Berval The Berval remelting and rehabilitation project is a transversal project combining the renaturation of several watercourses and the restoration of wetlands. Located in the Bonneuil-en-Valois and Russy-Bémont marshes, the project will restore more than 2 km of watercourses and nearly 15 ha of wetlands. It will allow the restoration of ecological continuity (fish and sediment) on Ru de Russy and Ru de la Moise with the removal of two obstacles. It will aim to diversify the natural habitats present on the site and improve the purification capacities of the environments. The work will also lead to better flood management by increasing the residence time of the water throughout the site and allowing regular flooding of the alluvial plain. Finally, this work will have a beneficial effect on the capacity of environments to sequester carbon (fight against climate change).share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
