Cooling network with geothermal production on a tablecloth

To ensure the energy transition on its territory, the city of Amiens and the ENGIE Group have created a Single-Operation Mixed Economy Company (SEMOP) for the modernization and development of its district heating network, AMIENS ENERGIES. The aim of AMIENS ENERGIES is to interconnect and extend existing (north-south) heat networks. This project is accompanied by the installation of new heat production units, which make it possible to have an energy mix fed eventually from 65% renewable energies (energy recovery from wastewater by PAC, biomass, geothermal on a table and biogas). To support the development of energy networks, AMIENS ENERGIES must continue to develop on the theme of refrigeration networks. This project concerns the creation of a new refrigeration network on the ZAC Gare la Vallée, fed on the base by a geothermal installation on a tablecloth. This application is submitted in the context of the ESF+ ERDF 2021-2027, with a view to providing concrete support for the triggering of this opportunity to create the first refrigeration network in Hauts-de-France.
