The Agriopale group, via SARL Le Pré du Loup Energie, was one of the pioneers in the production of injected biomethane in the Hauts de France region and at the national level by commissioning the Saint Josse sur mer unit in the summer of 2015. This production unit has always been intended to be a pilot unit and a demonstrator. Several objectives are aimed at the realization of this work, all oriented towards innovation, the optimization of the conversion into biogas of inputs and the valorization of the co-products of methanization, in particular CO2. The various works concern: - the creation of a digestion line that will allow to integrate new inputs and test new materials to be methanized, - the establishment of a hydrolysis pit to allow the improvement of the efficiency of digestion, which will be equipped with a heating system that will produce endogenous biological H2, which will be able to feed a methanation unit, - the creation of a biological methanation module in partnership with a regional company AES DANA, - the establishment of a gas purification unit by a membrane technology that will allow to separate and liquefy the CO2 produced. The unit will produce and inject 95 NM3/h of biomethane into the grid in addition, i.e. 8,075 MWh/year
