Pépite Lille Hauts-de-France

Initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in 2014, the Pépite (Pôles Étudiants pour l'Innovation, le Transfert et l'Entrepreneuriat) have the mission to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture and innovation in higher education, by implementing awareness-raising, training and support actions and to promote the linking of business creation projects of students and young graduates with support and financing structures. For the territory of the metropolises of Lille and Valenciennes, these missions are carried out by the Pépite Lille Hauts-de-France, a mechanism supported by the University of Lille. Pépite Lille Hauts-de-France brings together a network of 45 partner institutions, including the University of Lille, the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France and the Catholic Institute of Lille. Pépite Lille Hauts-de-France raises awareness of about 29,000 students per year and accompanies a little more than 270 students who are project leaders per year. The Pépite Lille HdF is part of the regional network of actors supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in the region. It plays a coordinating role in actions to raise awareness of student entrepreneurship in the territory, issues the national status of student entrepreneur (SNEE) and implements actions to train young people in entrepreneurship and support them in their project development process.
