The Syndicat Mixte des Déchets de l'Oise (SMDO) has decided to extend the rail terminal of its Villers Saint Paul plant in order to reduce the number of trucks carrying waste on the roads. The extension of the ITE will make it possible to transport an additional 96,000 tonnes and thus avoid more than 5,400 trucks. The site is managed by IDDEO, operator of the site, via a public service delegation.
