The transition to sustainable agriculture is a priority both at European and national level, requiring alternatives to mineral fertilizers and pesticides to protect the environment while ensuring the profitability of French farms. The partnership between members of the EDYSAN, BioEcoAgro, LG2A research units of the University of Picardy Jules Verne and Agrostation is part of this approach by focusing on the design, formulation, and evaluation of bio-solutions, as well as their application in the field. EDYSAN members will focus on the impact of bio-solutions on plant development and soil microbial communities, while BioEcoAgro members will focus on the analysis of metabolic changes in plants. LG2A researchers will work on optimizing these bio-solutions. For its part, Agrostation will test these innovations under real conditions to evaluate their effectiveness and their adoption by farmers. This collaboration between laboratories and companies aims to promote environmentally friendly agriculture, capable of reducing dependence on chemical inputs while being part of the European objectives of sustainability and resilience.
