Installation of a BIOGNV charging station at the urban transport workshop depot in Laon

Creation of a NGV charging station (slow charging) for the urban transport service of the agglomeration. The station will allow the refuelling of buses via the installation of 14 terminals. The provision of an on-site charging station saves more than 1,000 km per vehicle per year dedicated to refuelling (on average 252 round trips per year and per vehicle to the public station, for 4.3 km AR), and a productivity gain of 106 hours per year and per vehicle (25min per refuelling). With 6 NGV buses at the beginning of 2024, the gain is more than 6000km traveled per year and 636 hours of work. Redundancy between charging on site and at the public station ensures continuity of service by optimal use of NGV vehicles in the event of failure of one or other of the stations. At the same time, in order to ensure the exit of fossil fuels for NGV vehicles, the local authority will ensure that its delegate subscribes to a contract with a 100% bioGNV guarantee of origin, thus continuing the policy supported by the territory, which received in 2023 the trophy "Green Gas Committed Territory" (GRDF), and "Positive Territory" for a territory that has become 100% autonomous in renewable and local gas.
