General programme for the restoration of migratory fish in the Garonne basin in Occitanie

The MIGADO association is an association created in 1989 at the request of the Ministry of the Environment following the associative grouping of fishing federations and professional fishermen from the Garonne and Dordogne basins. As such, the association participates in the effort of restoration, monitoring and management of species, ecological monitoring and the functionality of environments. This project entitled "General Programme for the Restoration of Migratory Fish in the Garonne Basin in Occitanie" consists in implementing the technical part of the Migratory Fish Management Plan (PLAGEPOMI) as defined in Article 436-44 of the Environment Code. The project will thus include actions to preserve and restore the highly migratory fish populations of the Garonne and its tributaries. The implementation period of the project is 01/01/2021 to 31/12/2023 and the territory concerned is that of the watersheds of the Garonne located in Occitanie.
