The BALNEA thermo-ludic center, the first thermal water relaxation complex in the French Pyrenees, is an ideal place to recharge your batteries in an exceptional setting in the heart of the Louron Valley, at the foot of the ski resorts of Peyragudes and Val Louron and on the shores of Lake Génos-Loudenvielle. Composed of different baths, indoor and outdoor, with themes inviting to travel, the center had to equip itself with a more sporty dimension, which is why the construction of an indoor swimming pool, heated, with pool of 25 meters by 15 meters, was imposed as an essential complement. Its depth will vary from 1.30 meters to 2 meters and will include 6 swimming lanes. This new equipment is in line with the policy of diversification of the tourist and leisure offer 4 seasons committed to the site of Génos Loudenvielle since the creation of Balnéa in 2000 and will allow BALNEA, during bad weather (threats of storm), to repatriate swimmers from the outdoor pools to the indoor pool and offer them other activities (aquagym, swimming lanes, water polo or other). The development of an offer for sports tourism is now a major focus of the Syndicate's action (in parallel with the construction of a Sports Institute and after the construction of the VALGORA sports and culture center and the football/rugby field), complementary to the "well-being" theme developed since 2000 with BALNEA.
