The Comité Régional du Tourisme et des Loisirs Occitanie is an association governed by the Law of 1 July 1901 responsible for promoting the development of the regional tourism economy by positioning Occitanie as an essential destination via: -Promotion of the region as a sustainable and responsible tourist destination to French and foreign customers, -The creation of innovative communication tools, -Partnerships aimed at the coordination and coherence of marketing and communication action plans, -Assessment of tourism activity and its social and environmental economic impact, -The animation of the Regional Tourism Information Network, -Technical support for the implementation of regional policies in favor of the more sustainable and responsible tourism economy promoting in particular the decarbonized tourism offer. In order to optimize the economic benefits resulting from regional tourism activity and strengthen the competitiveness of its companies, the CRTLO is developing, over the course of 2023, structuring and complementary actions to assert the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.
