Master 2 Risk Management and Prevention

In a context where the social, health, environmental and energy crises have been linked for several years, the University of Nîmes has opened a new master’s degree in risk management and prevention (MPR). Mainly aimed at holders of an AES (Economic and Social Administration) degree, this master’s degree aims to train managers specialised in anticipating and managing risks in organisations. ESF+ funding aims to finance MASTER 2 in this sector. This master’s degree complements the training offered by dealing with topics in which the professors-researchers of the University of Nîmes are experts. It also allows AES students to continue their studies in the institution in order to reach the Bac + 5 level and for some, to move towards a PhD. Master 2 will train managers specialised in anticipation and risk management in organisations (Risk Manager, CSR Manager, etc.). It provides basic knowledge in management sciences (Strategy, Finance, HR, etc.) but also technical skills in public and private law, as well as in spatial and mathematical economics, in order to prevent the risks faced by organisations at both strategic and operational levels.
