The SCIPs relate above all to all risks, including flood risk, which is the most important risk in the Aude, Berre and Rieu catchment areas (e.g. amount of damage caused around €300 million in October 2018, 400 municipalities affected by flood risks and 90,000 inhabitants). Nevertheless, the SCIPs will also concern other natural risks (forest fire, earthquakes, tsunami, etc.) as well as technological and health risks. As part of the flood risk prevention and management policy, the objective of this operation, included in PAPI 3 (axis 3.3) of the Aude watershed, is in particular to: - support EPCI-fp on the scope of the EPTB SMMAR in the implementation of the PICS and the development of acculturation of the PICS through training and exercises by: - continuing the dynamic of accompaniment and support of the EPCIfp in the realization of the PICS, training and exercise, in a common format throughout the scope of the SMMAR EPTB Aude. - developing SCIPs focusing on mobilising and using inter-municipal capacities for the benefit of municipalities; pooling of municipal capacities; continuity and restoration of Community competences or interests.
