With more than 8 300 new cases of femoral amputees per year, SAS Ortho Access wishes to meet the demand for prostheses by industrialising the Access Socket Trans-Female, a personalized and innovative prosthesis combining comfort and functionality. The company will increase its production capacity by 150% from 1000 to 2500 units per year and reduce manufacturing costs by 20% thanks to digitization and new processes. This project will improve the quality of life of patients by better meeting their comfort needs, promote social and professional inclusion, and integrate environmentally friendly materials into its manufacturing to reduce the environmental footprint, with a goal of creating 15 local jobs. This prosthesis has received the validation of the High Authority of Health and will be supported by the Social Security.
