The Regional Youth Strategy aims to support the one million young people in the territory in accessing their autonomy. The Grand Est Region therefore aims to encourage them in their ability to choose their path, take initiatives, engage and broaden their horizons. It is about giving young people the keys to being responsible and enlightened citizens. The Region thus wishes to support the young people of the Great East in the construction of their path of commitment and professional integration. It is in this context that the Region decided in 2017 to make available to young people aged 15 to 29 an offer of services and tips adapted to their needs: Young East. The first 2018-2022 contract for the Jeun'Est scheme was completed in May 2022. The Region decided to launch a new consultation at the beginning of 2021 in order to propose a new version of the ‘Jeun'est’ scheme: an open, multichannel, easy-to-use device, in line with the digital uses of young people and scalable (new audiences, benefits, uses, services).
