Internationally renowned, LONGWY's Emaux et Faiences are an integral part of the city's industrial and cultural heritage. The premises of the former Banque de France located at Place LECLERC will be redeveloped to accommodate the new museum of Emaux and Fire Arts, which with its move from the current premises to the former bakery of the fortifications VAUBAN will find the lower town, the historic cradle of faiencières manufactures. This equipment will allow the presentation of some 4,000 pieces that make up the museum's collection as well as the implementation of thematic exhibitions. In addition, a new scenography and presentation of art objects will allow a new discovery of the realization of these including with the use of modern technologies of presentation / communication (including a dedicated website)
