The R-IRM project aims to further develop the technological and research platforms of the Grand Est Region in the field of in vivo imaging, medical robotics and health innovation: the Imaging, Robotics and Health Innovations (IRIS) platform in Strasbourg and the imaging platforms in Nancy (CHRU Nancy, Nancyclotep, CRAN optical imaging). The R-MRI project will thus make it possible to maintain in a coordinated manner the imaging and robotics platforms at the highest level of expertise and innovation, and thus guarantee the Grand Est region a position of national and international excellence in medical imaging and robotics research. This project is characterized by a multidisciplinary and coordinated approach combining complementary skills and expertise in image processing, robotics, computer science, radiochemistry, data science, biophysics, optics, instrumentation with the participation of the medical leaders of the sites. FLI Grand Est will thus complete its offer in terms of imaging (MRI, optics, ultrasound, nuclear and interventional). The research projects carried out on these technological platforms will make it possible to develop innovative imaging and robotics technologies as well as new methods of image processing and artificial intelligence around health with the eventual development of more efficient diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
