The good ecological status of the rivers of the National Forest Park allows the presence of remarkable species such as black stork and white-footed crayfish. Knowledge remains incomplete for many aquatic species, in particular bivalve molluscs, including the large cyclade, which is one of the species of major concern. Consistent with the objectives of the charter, the National Forest Park carries out a 3-year program aimed at the conservation of a set of species of aquatic environments on the Haut-Marnaise part of its territory. The project will consist of developing the knowledge acquired on these species, identifying or even experimenting with measures for the management and restoration of watercourses on the basis of feedback and proposing awareness-raising and communication actions.
