Construction of a multi-professional health home

The Maison de Santé Pluriprofessionnelle de Rodemack aims to strengthen the local care offer and the attractiveness of an under-endowed territory in terms of health offer. Indeed, the territory currently has one general practitioner per 1606 inhabitants in the CCCE in 2021, while the norm for good coverage is one doctor per 900 to 1000 inhabitants. For practising medical specialists, the national average (distributed unevenly across France) is 10.4 specialists per 1000 inhabitants. Within the CCCE, there is one specialist doctor for every 2,731 inhabitants. The construction of this local health structure will make it possible to perpetuate the existing but precarious care offer due to retirements and to develop it through the establishment of a coordinated exercise of health professionals. This project clearly meets the needs of the population in relation to current health problems (aging of the population, management of chronic diseases ...). Ambitious project presented to the ARS and awarded the label ‘Maison de Santé Pluriprofessionnelle’ in spring 2023. This organization is also a strong point to encourage the installation and maintenance of new health professionals. The objective is to bring together in one place about 15 health professionals in a place perfectly equipped for a coordinated exercise of care.
