Voies navigables de France has in its heritage the secondary lock of Kembs- Niffer, whose control tower and administrative building were designed and built by the architect Le Corbusier. These remarkable buildings, listed as historical monuments, are now in an altered state of conservation. Concerned about the preservation of the fluvial heritage, Voies navigables de France wishes to undertake restoration work on these two remarkable buildings and to engage, in partnership with the actors of the territory, in the long term, a strategy of tourist valorisation of this site.
