As part of the PAPI Madon, the mixed trade union EPTB Meurthe Madon will implement various developments in Mirecourt to protect the city (Breuil district) from flood risk. The release of a meadow and the development of a flood channel, thus created, will reduce water levels in the urban crossing of Mirecourt and thus limit the impact of flooding on property and people. The flood channel will also guide flows and thus facilitate them during periods of flooding. An ecological development is also planned downstream with the creation of ponds, groves and a pike spawning area. this development must therefore also improve the biodiversity of the site.
