The WorldSkills Trades Competition, an international competition, allows young professionals from all over France to showcase their talents and know-how in more than 60 trades. Held every two years since 1947, this competition is an extraordinary human and professional adventure, which makes it possible to enhance the competing professions and highlight professional know-how. The Grand Est selection of the Trades Competition is organized in order to constitute a Regional Trades Team, capable of competing in all the categories of trades chosen by the Region as part of its participation in the National Competition. As such, the Region organises, coordinates and finances the pre-selections and regional selection of its territory, in close collaboration with its network of partners: professional organisations, academic authorities, consular chambers, training institutions and professional teams.
