National nature reserves have an overall objective of protecting biodiversity. The role of the manager (CEN Alsace) is the preservation of these environments through a mission of knowledge, monitoring and valorisation, described in the management plans. The project aims to renew the management plans of the two national nature reserves (Erstein Forest and Rhinau Island) and to acquire additional naturalistic data.
