Present throughout the territory of North Meusien with 1 reception place in Verdun and 10 local offices, the Mission Locale du Nord Meusien carries out a mission of local public service with the objective of enabling all young people aged 16 to 25 to overcome the difficulties that hinder their socio-professional integration. Our role is to welcome, inform, guide and support young people in the development of their project by treating each individual situation in its entirety: employment, training, social issues, housing, health, mobility, etc. To empower young people and make them actors and responsible for their journey, the Local Missions promote access to existing rights and services in the territory. Their strength is the anchoring in the economic and social reality of the territories with a unifying role of all partners working on the field of youth integration. The Meuse du Nord employment area is a territory that struggles to attract the skills sought by employers. One of the current challenges, shared by the various actors, is to better guide the people who live in this territory to lead them to promising professions.
