For inclusive education for young people far from employment in the AHP (Alpes de Haute Provence)

The aim of E2C 04 is to support young people who are far from employment in their social, civic and professional integration in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (AHP) department. To do this, two sites were inaugurated in 2020 and then in 2022, respectively in Manosque and Digne-les-Bains. In this context, the project "For inclusive education for young people away from AHP employment", led by the Institut Avenir Provence, aims to support 360 young people between 2023 and 2025. This support is all the more important as the Covid-19 crisis has strongly impacted young people who are even more vulnerable to the labour market and poverty. The E2C offers a specific and individualized pedagogy of retraining and professional integration, focused on the definition of a professional project and the mastery of fundamental knowledge that provides an adapted response to vulnerable young people and, thus, constitutes a bridge between the world of integration and the job market through an alternating educational path. This system thus contributes to the sustainable integration of young people. For this, a follow-up of the young person is organized throughout the course, but also up to a year after his release. In addition, E2C makes it possible to respond to the problems of the territory by training young people in jobs in tension on the territory.
