The IHU PERF-4 project consists of the acquisition of state-of-the-art scientific equipment necessary to computerise and automate the major stages of the immunofluorescence serological approach within the IHU-Mediterranean Infection serology platform located on the Timone campus in Marseille (13). Immunofluorescence is a reference approach in serology that is now entirely manual and expensive. The aim is for the IHU to remove its main limit by automating the entire ‘antigen deposition, serum deposition and reading’ process, extending the indications for which this serology technique will serve as a reference method.
