The project consists of the acquisition of a full-body PET multimodal imager coupled with an X-ray scanner within the European Research Centre for Medical Imaging (CERIMED, UAR 2012), from Aix-Marseille University (AMU) to Timone in Marseille (Bouches du Rhône). The aim is to develop an international clinical research platform, unique in Europe, open to academic and industrial communities. This new instrumentation represents a major technological breakthrough, with an expected increase in accuracy x8 compared to previous equipment.
