Through the former GIRN (Integrated Management of Natural Risks) FEDER-POIA approach undertaken from 2019 to 2022 that has made it possible to optimize risk management at the inter-municipal level in terms of detection of natural phenomena, crisis management, warning and preventive information, the CCVUSP wishes to extend this dynamic through a STEPRiM (Territorial Strategy for the Prevention of Risks in Mountains) approach in the phase of intention. This new approach is reflected in the implementation of an action programme based on the following six axes: 0. Animation and piloting of the STEPRiM of Intent 1. Improved knowledge and awareness of risk 2. Prediction and Monitoring of Natural Hazards 3. Crisis Alert and Management 4. Taking risk into account in urban planning 5. Actions and work on assets to reduce their vulnerability
