The CAP-ALP project aims to prepare, on the scale of the Alpine massif and "living basins", populations, local authorities and certain operators to face natural risks and crises related to extreme events observed with climate change. It must also lead them to develop their adaptive capacities so that everyone is an actor of resilience on their territory, both individually and collectively. Resolutely innovative, the CAP-ALP project will raise awareness among all target audiences affected by a crisis (elected officials and territorial agents, state and rescue services, civil society actors and finally residents) by making them work from tools adapted to their territory and innovative scenarios specific to Alpine territories. Mobilizing the populations concerned by the work on the memory of past events and information on extreme events to come, proposing tools to act in times of crisis and facilitate their appropriation, allowing exchanges in the long term and the development of competence of each will be the major guidelines at the heart of the CAP-ALP project.
