In order to meet the major challenges related to the monitoring and control of known or emerging wildlife diseases, in the context of global warming that promotes their development, the project aims to develop a health strategy for wildlife management in the Haute-Savoie reserves and the Mercantour NP. Adopting the "One Health" approach, it will allow health monitoring and early detection of diseases affecting wildlife, in particular endangered and emblematic species of the Alps (Gypaète, ibex, Tetras-Lyre, amphibians, etc.), better management of interactions between human activities (hunting, fishing, pastoralism, tourism) and wildlife, capitalising on this experience and disseminating it to other managers of natural environments in the Alpine massif, in particular.
