The most obvious impact of climate change on life is the change in the seasonality of species (dates of flowering, laying, etc.). The SoPheno project aims to better understand the consequences of climate change on trees and plants in the mountains through participatory science data, while jointly studying the transformative nature of the participatory approach on the participants involved. It brings together an issue of knowledge and monitoring of mountain ecosystems, as well as an issue of citizen mobilization by bringing together the general public, schools, associations, researchers, protected areas. The project therefore makes it possible to simultaneously strengthen these two processes, of knowledge and participation, and to allow them to feed each other.
