The energy transition and region specifically the transition to green chemistry requires a change from a linear and centrally controlled value chain to a circular and decentralised model. Necessary for this are, among other things, innovations in the field of digital (smart) industry. The collaborating parties want to use their knowledge and expertise to make a substantial difference in this area. The ambition is to jointly increase the inflow, flow and sustainable employability of the workforce in the North-West Brabant region, specifically focused on the chemical sector and the demand for digital and technical skills. This agile and resilient workforce can cope with the changes in the nature of work and the growing mismatch between supply and demand in the labour market as a result of the energy transition. To this end, the DigiPower 2023-2026 ‘Green Deal’ project is proposed. The project offers help to everyone who works, lives or seeks work in the region by training and retraining a competent ‘green’ employee suitable for realising the energy transition. The target groups find their way to the CA-ICT by registering with the DigiPower 2023-2026 ‘Green Deal’ portal or via the front portal of the Regional Mobility Centre by means of a pre-selection via the social services of the municipalities.
