Gradyent is developing a digital twin of steam systems for use in the port of Rotterdam. Steam systems in the port of Rotterdam are used for heating industrial processes and emit more than 10 mton CO2. Lowering the CO2 emissions of steam systems is therefore an important element in making the port climate-proof. By developing digital twins, steam networks are made more efficient, which saves CO2. In addition, the digital twins help in making sustainable investment choices with regard to new sustainable sources of heating for the industry. With the support of the JTF, scalable digital twin of the steam networks in the port of Rotterdam is being developed with a corresponding training program. As a result, operators in the industry can learn new skills for future innovative systems in the port and students are trained in a sustainable port. Want to know more? Visit www.gradyent.ai
