The project Scale-up processing fibre-reinforced thermosetting equipment receives €1,370,667.25 from the JTF. The aim of this project is to scale up a pilot plant for fractionation technology with a processing capacity of approximately 3,000 tonnes on an annual basis to an industrial plant with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes on an annual basis. The fractionation technology reduces the composite parts in multiple steps in which fiber strength is retained, to a raw material that can be applied as. The result of the project is an industrial installation for the processing of fibre-reinforced thermosetting composite with mature chain logistics for the supply of windmill parts. In addition, the project invests in a training and development plan for new employees and apprenticeships. The results give substance to the ambition of the region to be able to reuse residual flows usefully with a new kind of employment for solving a serious waste problem.
