The project receives a contribution of € 2,197,675.25 from the JTF. Leveraging the investments in the Vitale infra HIC as a job engine for Rotterdammers/Rijnmonders and thus strengthening the ecosystem of relevant actors is of great importance. Many parties in the Port Industrial Complex are aware of the fact that the adaptation of the vital infrastructure for energy is crucial in order to be able to continue the energy transition in the HIC properly at all. That is why, with this project proposal with network partners, the municipality of Rotterdam gives priority to addressing staff shortages precisely in that chain. Part of the solution is the development of a job platform to guide more people to the port and an SME action plan to strengthen the strategic HR policy of SMEs in the port.
