Achieving the energy transition is accompanied by a large number of challenges. The challenges are also enormous in the Port Industrial Complex. There is a great shortage of labour, at the same time the energy transition demands renewed craftsmanship. This requires a structural approach in which companies, public institutions, (professional) education, researchers and government work intensively together to maintain and strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem. That is why the Human Capital Coalition Energy Transition (HCCE) was founded. Port of Energy is the first project of the HCCE. The project is an integrated approach to improve cooperation between education and the labour market for the enthusiasm, training and retraining of the necessary human resources for the energy transition. All this is all about training a qualified energy professional who makes the energy transition in the port possible.
