The project receives € 2,000,000 from the JTF. The aim of this project is to invest in a new industrial plant for the dynamic thermal oxidation of residual flows with a processing capacity of 160,000 tonnes. Within the AM&P group, the patented process has been developed with which contaminated residual flows such as sludge, but also the fraction that remains after fermentation of household waste can be processed into a secondary raw material for the ceramic industry with a Dynamic Thermal Oxidizing Treatment (DTO). The DTO process, which has not previously been applied on a practical scale, is a combustion process in which the contaminated residual flows are brought into a eddy current by adding a large amount of oxygen. With this process, the temperature and thus the oxidation of the contaminants can be precisely controlled at 5-10°C for each individual contamination with green steam used for green hydrogen as a by-product.
