The aim of this project is, on the one hand, to reduce the vacancy surplus and, on the other hand, to humanize changing industrial jobs. The reason for this is the planned phase-out of fossil fuels and the transition to sustainable energy sources and green hydrogen for industry, including the replacement of fossil raw materials and transport fuels with bio-based raw materials, recycling and CO2 and the development of a (sustainable) energy infrastructure. The aim of this project is to lower the financial threshold for (non-)working professionals (80 in total) in the Rijnmond region, with the aim of retraining and upskilling in the field of energy transition (post-graduate courses in Energy Transition and Project Leader Energy Transition and the module Energy Transition Essentials).
