The energy transition is not going fast enough, partly due to a shortage of staff. If this continues, the climate goals will not be met and the generations after us will be left with even greater problems. In addition, there is still a lot of untapped labour potential; People who stand by the side or do less than they can or are in a job with no perspective. E-Connect aims to build a sustainable and effective labour market ecosystem for the energy transition in the IJmond. Success will be achieved by scaling up to other regions, based on strengthening existing structures. Specifically, E-connect aims to achieve the following results: - 500 people are reached. A neighbourhood approach is used for this. - with a tailor-made approach, 50 people are retrained to jobs in the energy transition - 10 initiatives are scaled up through support with funding and network. - 15 companies are helped to recruit, develop and retain their professionals.
