In 2024, the EU will roll out the Digital Product Passport (DPP). DPP will be the central commitment mechanism within the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). From 2026, the DPP will become mandatory in more and more production chains. Most companies in the manufacturing industry are not yet ready for this change. In this project, a product is being developed with which companies in the manufacturing industry can easily connect their existing product information to a Sustainability Passport-as-a-Service. Companies are unburdened by this. The sustainability passport complies with the latest laws and regulations at national and international level. Triply collaborates in this project with Techport, Cupola and the VU. Training is an important part of the project, 200 people are trained in knowledge about laws and regulations. In addition, 40 people will be selected for further training. Graduates are also supervised in the project.
